2006 Chrysler 300

The most elegantly styled rear-drive sedan in decades was introduced last year to virtually instant success. A high-performance 300C SRT8 was recently added to the line that packs a high-output 6.1-liter HEMI V-8 and is mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox with manual-shift capability. This engine is rated at a mighty 425 horsepower and 420 pounds-feet of torque and allows the car to go from 0-to-60 mph in the low-five-second range. Suspension upgrades contribute to a sportier handling, and the SRT8 rides on huge 20-inch wheels and tires. The base model offers a 190-horsepower 2.7-liter V-6 and a four-speed automatic transmission, while the Touring and Limited models come with a 250-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6, and add traction- and stability control systems, and brake assist, among other amenities. The 300C version includes a 340-horsepower version of the HEMI V-8 and the five-speed gearbox. Both rear- and all-wheel-drive versions are available with all but the base and SRT8 versions. Minor updates for 2006 include mating the five-speed automatic to the 3.5-liter V-6 (as a rolling change sometime after the first 2006 models roll off the line), a tire pressure monitor added to C and SRT8 models, and the display of more prominent HEMI badging; an increase of 45 percent. The 300's counterparts at sister company Dodge are the Charger sedan and the Magnum station wagon.

What we eat has a profound effect on our mind as well as the body. It is not only important as to what we eat but it is equally important as to how we eat. Following are a few tips on diet which help in getting the best out of what we eat.

  1. Fresh ginger with a small amount of salt should be taken 10 to 20 minutes before food.
  2. The diet, especially hard substances should be properly chewed.
  3. Wherever possible intake of curd or buttermilk should follow food.
  4. The food should be tasty, fresh and good in appearance.
  5. It should neither be very hot nor absolutely cold.
  6. Water should be avoided at least 15 minutes before food. The quantity of water after food should be small. Let it be drunk often.
  7. Heavy (Guru) food should be taken in a limited quantity.
  8. Heavy food should not be taken at night. The proper time of night meal is two to three hours before going to bed. After night meal, it is better to go for a short walk, of say hundred steps.
  9. Heavy work or exercise should be avoided after food.
  10. After meals, heavy mental or physical work should be avoided. Some rest is advisable for proper digestion of food.

One item to look for when you're looking for a person to work on your car is certification by the non-profit National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) ASE-certified technicians can be found at every type of repair facility, from dealerships, service stations and franchises to independent garages.  To get this certification, technicians must pass rigorous national tests.  Having successfully done so, they've proven their competency to themselves, their employers and the public.  To remain certified and to keep up with advances in the automotive industry, technicians must renew their certification every five years.  Repair shops that have at least one ASE-certified technician on staff after allowed to display the certificates of any ASE-certified technicians on their staff.  Remember to start shopping for a repair shop or body shop before you need one.  Ask friends or local consumer organizations for advice, and visit a shop and ask some questions of your own.

We'd be happy to answer your questions and show you our operation
